First, thank you to everyone for your incredibly warm and kind comments and emails to my last post. It was so heartwarming to read your well wishes and your own personal stories. Does anyone watch Life Story Project on the Oprah Network? This show is my latest addiction. It is such a wonderful reminder that everyone has their own incredible and unique story that is worth celebrating and learning from. If you ever get a chance to watch it - watch it, I guarantee you'll love it!!
Now onto something more lighter and fun! This week the girls are off for spring break and we've been keeping busy with play dates, crafting projects, fun outings and anything else we can think of. The other day we decorated Easter eggs and boy-oh-boy it was sure a practice in patience. I decided to hard boil the eggs so they weren't so fragile to work with, but who would know that the long wait for the eggs to boil and cool was like forever when you're 5. :-)
We then dyed all the eggs and had to wait again for them to dry before we could start the decorating. Both girls didn't take their eyes off the eggs as they waited. I'm guess they believed they could stare the eggs into drying faster. LOL!
Once the eggs were all dry the real fun begun! The girls used stickers and glitter to decorating them, but hands down the glitter was the most fun to work with and I'm pretty sure I will be cleaning up glitter for weeks to come.
