Thank you so much everyone for your super kind comments and emails about Bugsy. It really made me feel so happy to be back blogging again with such amazing online friends. You guys rock!!
In the Bugsy post I mentioned that I started a Project Life binder and in order to have a good chance of actually completing it, I am keeping things really simple this time around.
First, I decided to do everything digitally. I'm using mostly the Paislee Press journaling cards and templates (I sooooo adore her stuff!), and seeing how I go into Photoshop to do a quick edit on my photos before printing, typing up a journaling card at the same time is easy. I then print out the photos and journal cards, and into the book they go!
I'm using an American Crafts binder, Becky Higgins photo pocket pages and the Canon Selphy CP900 for printing my photos. I keep everything out (camera, binder, printer) and ready to go, which also acts as a constant reminder and motivator!
Because I wanted to keep the project as simple as possible and stress-free, I decided to not document each week, but to just put a place card in for the month, photography and journal what I can, and at the end of each month print everything out and add it to the book.
Here's a look at some of my pages from January.
I'm loving doing this project so much that I even got a head-start on February! Who knows, maybe by next year I'll be ready to take on documenting each week!! - but baby steps first. :-)
I feel great that I finally started a Project Life binder, but I still had so many unprinted photos from years past siting on my computer and I just had to do something to preserve those memories as well. So stay tuned and I'll share my quick and ease way to getting those pictures from the computer onto the printed pages of some super cute photo books!
Until then have a really amazing day everyone!!
